Family Owned & Operated Since 1969

Fletcher Group LLC first started back in 1969 as Fletcher Engineering Inc, and marketed under the name EZE-LAP Diamond Products, by founders J L Fletcher and his wife Louise Fletcher. J L Fletcher started out as a salesman for an industrial diamond wheel company and found that there was a need for diamond compounds as he visited his various clients. Most of his clients professed a need for some sort of finishing and fine polishing prior to selling their products.

J L’s background in chemistry and engineering allowed him to dabble in the design and development of a grease base that would hold up and stay in place as the diamonds were allowed to do their work. After months of trial and error he finally came up with a proprietary formula that allowed the diamond compound to maximize its efficiency and produced the highest quality finish needed with minimal effort and cost.

This formula is still the backbone of the Fletcher Diamond Compounds being produced and sold today.

The Fletcher Group is a great company to work with and they have a great diamond polishing product I use all the time! The diamond compounds they offer work very well in buffing out small scuffs and scratches in glass panels. We still use other glass polishing compounds to finish our process but using their product helps speed up the process and is less messy to work with.

I started in manufacturing in 1977 and my dad was using Fletcher Diamond products at that time to lap carbide bullet dies for lake city army plant he said nothing works as well as Diamond for lapping. We have found that the assortment of grits from very fine to course is what it takes to lap all our Carbide and steel parts to a finish of 2 or better and a roundness of .000020 . I would say that it is a great product and highly recommend it.
